About This Policy Area

Northpointe's Clinical Practices & Health Services policies define the standards network providers must meet when delivering behavioral health and related clinical services. These policies address evidence-based practice requirements, treatment planning and documentation expectations, and the coordination of health services across care settings to ensure recipients receive consistent, high-quality care.

This policy area also covers medication management and prescribing protocols, continuity of care obligations when recipients transition between providers or levels of care, and standards for telehealth and remote service delivery. Providers are expected to maintain compliance with all applicable clinical standards and to document services in accordance with Northpointe's requirements.
