Clubhouse – Psychosocial Rehabilitation

A community-based program supporting adults with mental illness through meaningful work, relationships, and belonging.

House of Dreams Clubhouse

The Clubhouse – Psychosocial Rehabilitation program is located in Menominee County, MI and was recognized as a Clubhouse by the State of Michigan in 2015. It continues to grow and develop as membership increases and new ideas are implemented.

The program operates under the name House of Dreams Clubhouse and provides a welcoming, community-based environment for adults living with mental illness. Members are active participants — not patients — who contribute to the daily operations of the Clubhouse and support one another in building meaningful lives.

What is a Clubhouse?

A Clubhouse, also known as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program, is an internationally recognized model of community support for people with serious mental illness. The Clubhouse model is built on the belief that all people have the potential to lead full and productive lives.

Clubhouses offer members opportunities for employment, education, housing support, and social connection — all within a structured, strengths-based community. The work-ordered day at a Clubhouse is central to its mission, giving members purposeful roles in running the Clubhouse itself.
