Tailored mental health and support services designed to meet the unique needs of older adults in our community.

Behavioral Health Care for Older Adults

Northpointe recognizes that older adults face distinct challenges that can affect mental health and overall well-being — including retirement, loss of loved ones, chronic health conditions, and changes in independence. Our older adult services are designed to address these needs with compassion and expertise.

Services are available to eligible individuals in Dickinson, Iron, and Menominee counties. We work closely with families, primary care providers, and community partners to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.

OBRA — Preadmission Screening & Resident Review (PASRR)

Northpointe conducts OBRA evaluations required under the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) for individuals being considered for admission to a nursing facility. Our licensed clinicians perform Preadmission Screenings and Resident Reviews (PASRR) to identify individuals with serious mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or related conditions, and to ensure they receive the most appropriate level of care. These evaluations help connect individuals with community-based alternatives to nursing home placement whenever possible.
